My name is Zia-Grace Generette. I’m a senior in high school from Southern Connecticut. I am the Blogging Team Leader and a member of the Outreach Team.

I love reading and writing for fun, building Legos, baking cake, and making spaghetti. In the next year and beyond I hope to attend Eastern Connecticut State and American University. I hope to study either Journalism or Political Science. I don’t know what I want to be once I graduate college, but two careers I want are an author and a small business owner.

My hobbies include building Lego sets, reading Marvel comics.

I joined Reach For The Stars because of the chance to give back to others, even if virtually, I love the chance to give back to others, and be able to get to know other people. One of the friends I’ve made in Reach For The Stars is Emma Leonard, she’s one of the best people I know, we can relate to a lot of things, and she’s easy to talk to.

One of the things I’ve learned since volunteering is how to network with other people my age, and other organizations, as well as how to find the right places to contact to grow the organization. People should get involved with Reach For The Stars if they love and want to get more experience in tutoring (peer and private), writing, outreach with other organizations, book club, and being a part of our webinars!

3 Fun Facts:
1. I love M&M’s and Hershey’s.
2. Watching Marvel movies and reading the comics.
3. Spaghetti is my comfort food.
