Yijia (Annie) Zhang

Hello, call me Annie! I am a junior from Seattle, Washington, and I am the Head of Human Resources at Reach For The Stars.

Reading is my lifelong hobby, and my favorite book is 1984. I am not a big movie or television fan, but Tom and Jerry will always have a special place in my heart.

I am involved in Mock Trial, Speech and Debate, and DECA (in the Human Resources Management category). I understand that I am very privileged to have a good education, and I wish that every single child can have the education that I've experienced. I wish to empower them through knowledge and make them even more confident in themselves. I believe RFTS is the perfect opportunity for me to achieve this.

I joined RFTS because it is an organization that provides tutoring help to students across the globe and bridges the gap between communities. I wish to continue to be a part of RFTS's journey in making an impact.

1. My favorite food is CHEESE!! Unfortunately, I am allergic to cheese, but cheese is worth it:)
2. I believed in Santa until I was 12 years old
3. My favorite ice-cream flavor is bourbon vanilla chocolate truffle.
