Srilaasya Chirumamilla

Hi! I am Sri Chirumamilla (she/her) from Ashburn, VA. I am a sophomore at VCU, and I aspire to be a pediatrician one day. My hobbies include reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching movies/tv shows. My absolute favorite thing to do is reading. I love too many books to have a favorite, but my favorite book series is Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series. I also love watching sitcoms like Friends, Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Good Place, but I enjoy more severe shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Criminal Minds. I recently started watching Chinese and Korean dramas, so feel free to recommend a drama!

As a Human Resources team member, I help you within Reach for the Stars (RFTS). I joined RFTS because the transition to online learning is not easy, and I wanted to do my part in helping with the process. I love being in RFTS because I get to meet so many amazing people worldwide, and I had the opportunity to help people during difficult times. I have gotten to know some amazing people from RFTS, like Annie, Kameron, and many others, and I hope you would get to know them too! Volunteering at RFTS taught me many things, but I think the most important is that it allowed me to learn how to work with others. I hope we can all work to make RFTS an even better organization!
