Kyra Sunil

Hi! My name is Kyra Sunil, and I am an Executive Assistant at Reach for the Stars. I am a high school junior from California, but I was born in Seattle and have also lived in India! I enjoy science and math, and in the future I would love to study either chemical engineering or chemistry.

Currently, my dream college is New York University, but UCLA has always been high on my list as well. In my free time, I enjoy making earrings, playing the ukulele, and coming up with bad jokes to tell my friends.

My primary role at RFTS is making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. This includes completing miscellaneous tasks, helping departments, and assisting our wonderful Senior Directors.

I have always been passionate about giving back to my community and tutoring has been a way for me to form relationships with other students, so joining RFTS was an easy decision. From my first day, I could feel the welcoming environment and I have enjoyed getting to know some of the incredible people that work here, including Kameron, Vicky, Bernie, Jacob, Athena, and Courtney!

I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of such a meaningful, global organization, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!

3 Fun Facts:
1. I am a nationally ranked badminton player, and my parents have competed at the international level!
2. I have a slight coffee addiction and everyone makes fun of me for only drinking out of a mason jar
3. I’ve always had a dog; the longest I’ve been without one is four months
