Jennifer Wood

My name is Jennifer Wood. I am currently a senior at Forest Lake High School. It’s in Minnesota, by the way! I plan to attend the University of Minnesota and later become a dentist.

Some of my favorite activities and things are horror movies, skiing, Five Guys, and going out. I am a member of the Human Resources Team here at Reach for the Stars. Part of my job is to help members of the organization in any way possible. All of the team members (friends) within my department are friendly and understanding, which is my favorite part of RFTS. Everyone is very caring. I initially wanted to be a part of the RFTS team, merely to put on my college application, put some hours down, and maybe help some kids along the way if I can.

Still, throughout working with my Human Resources team and with people within the organization that was of diverse background and ideas, I learned that it was much more than that. I want to be someone on the team who can make a change that can better others and their circumstances.
