Heather Guthrie

Hi, everyone! My name is Heather Guthrie. I joined Reach For The Stars back in August 2020, and I have completely enjoyed my time with this organization.

I am a senior in college at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and I aspire to continue my education to receive a Doctoral degree in occupational therapy. After receiving this degree, I hope to become a pediatric feeding therapist.

I joined RFTS because I wanted to find something meaningful during this pandemic. I’ve been working with kids my whole life, and I know how important it is for children to receive a quality education. This organization is incredible. We have been able to grow RFTS a notable amount just in the few months that I have been a part of it, and I am so looking forward to seeing how far we come in the next few months as well. I love all of the positions that I have in this organization, and it is wonderful to feel that your efforts truly matter.

Reach For The Stars is an extraordinary organization that offers a warm and welcoming environment. I would recommend that anyone who is interested join RFTS. You most certainly will not regret it.
