Hi! My name is Elisa, and I live on the Marianas Island of Guam. I am a loud and proud student of Simon Sanchez High School, Home of the Sharks.

As I write this, I am involved with 17 organizations (school/international youth-led) and aim for my 18th membership to be of the National Honor Society. In my free time, I enjoy listening to or playing music, watching YoutTube, and reading.

Regarding my plans for after graduation, I aim to attend an off-island college and want to pursue careers as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Technician or Flight Attendant.

Due to the tragedy that COVID-19 has plagued across the world, I realized that now is the best time to involve myself in both my local and international community. This was my reason for joining Reach For The Stars, and can truly say it continually teaches me how to improve my time management, communication, and organizational skills.

My specific role at RFTS is creating TikToks to promote any upcoming events/programs, the vast amount of volunteer opportunities we have to offer, and more! Something I love about being a part of RFTS is that upon joining, I felt immediately welcome (thanks to Vicky, Elena, and the founder Inuola!), and although there is a great amount of physical distance existing between a majority of the team, existing is an even greater unspoken bond.

3 Fun Facts:
1. I’m the founder of Guam’s chapter of Zero Hour :)
2. I made and strung 76 total origami cranes.
3. I have an obese cat named Stella (whose on a diet, so don’t worry).
