Elena Mao

Hi guys, I’m Elena Mao, Co-Head of Media Department with Rijul, Team Leader of Social Media with my absolute favorite, Vicky, and a member of Interview Board!

I’m currently 16, and I’m a junior at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Arizona.

I found out about Reach for the Stars in July, and joining the initial team was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Although we’ve had our ups and downs in this organization, the community at RFTS has given me a second family as well as a chance to connect with so many amazing people from across the world.

I can definitely say I’ve made new friends (shoutout to Vicky and the rest of PST Squad- Annie and Athena), and we have so much fun while contributing to something we are passionate about. In the future,

I am considering careers relating to education, law, or business. I’ve always been interested in art as well, so running an organization’s social media account and exploring graphic designing was the perfect way to combine my passions into one.

I also love baking and painting, and I’m brainstorming to open my own online bakery. I’m also extremely passionate about DECA(Distributive Education Club of America) !!
